Save Parkway Views is FRIENDS signature project. There are two tree plantings per year. The spring planting on March 20 will utilize approximately 500-600 seedlings. The purpose of our plantings is to save Parkway views by creating a barrier between the Parkway and the surrounding urban landscape. Viewshed planting locations are determined closer to the planting dates.
